The Grateful Life Foundation's mission is to inspire ourselves, families and neighbors to celebrate the gift of life and live each day with an attitude of gratitude.

Our goal is to assist active alcoholics and addicts and their families achieve a healthy lifestyle and become independent, productive, contributing members of the community.

Our hope is to have individuals give back a portion of their time, talent and treasure to help those suffering from alcoholism and addiction and their families obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We believe that as we realize this dream, the Foundation becomes a positive asset to the community which can give back more than it has received.

People yearn for happiness and serenity in a world of confusion and conflict. At the Grateful Life Foundation, we believe happiness and peace are found in choosing to live each day grateful for the blessings received and thus become a blessing to others.

We know this life-principle works because we see it everyday in the faces of those among us who are in long term recovery from the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. Just read the real life stories on this site and your will understand why we believe miracles occur daily all around us.

The Grateful Life Foundation is associated with Transitions, Inc . For over 40 years, Transitions staff and volunteers have observed first-hand the saving and transforming process that begins with treatment and ends with healing. Peace and happiness are found after honesty, humility, faith in a Higher Power, discipline and hope become the foundation stones in one's life.
